Dear Rainbow Kehilah Members and Friends,
If you are a current member of Rainbow Kehilah, you may have been wondering why we have not sent you an invoice for your membership fees for 2008/2009.
The Rainbow Kehilah committee has decided to reward our loyal members this year by giving you the 2008/2009 membership free! And there’s more good news about memberships!
Per the committee’s recent discussions, membership fees from now on will be $15 for singles and $30 for families ($12 & $24 concession), whether Full or Associate Members.
We’d like to continue our membership drive, which is why this is going to everyone on our mailing list. Please help publicise the RK membership. Point people to the website, to our email address or ask them to call us if they are interested..
We organised several events in 2007/2008 and plan more in the coming year, with an emphasis on social events. We welcome your ideas and any offers of hosting events in your home, whether you are a member or not.
We also welcome submissions for the RK website. We’d like articles with a Jewish flavour about anything in the Northern Rivers that could be of interest to our readers.
If you are a current member, please enjoy our gift of free membership for 08/09, and the reduced membership fee starting from July 2009. If you’d like to join or rejoin, please contact us as soon as possible or fill out an application form HERE, on our website.
If you've never been a member, please consider supporting your local Jewish Community.
Some membership benefits include:
- Reduced entry fees at most Rainbow Kehilah events
- Events fully organised and in some cases, subsidised by RK
- From 2009 a membership card to be shown at events
- Supporting your local Jewish community and helping it grow for the future
- Printed newsletters at various times during the year
- Full-members have voting rights at the AGM
- Full-members can run for the committee and help to build RK's future direction
- Administrative support, for example RK signed letters or references for other official organisations
